June 9 – According to foreign media reports, Apple plans to abandon the use of titanium frames in its upcoming iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max models set to launch this fall, opting instead for aluminum alloy.

Previously, the iPhone 15 Pro featured a titanium alloy mid-frame produced using 3D printing technology. Sources suggest that one reason for the material switch is aluminum’s lower carbon footprint, which supports Apple’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality across its products and supply chain by 2030.
