On April 16, it was announced that Aniwaa, a B2B online procurement platform for 3D printing founded in 2014, will be shutting down. The website once offered the world’s most accurate database of 3D printers, 3D scanners, and post-processing equipment, containing detailed information on 1,472 printers, 441 scanners, and 154 post-processing devices.
Martin Lansard, CEO and co-founder of Aniwaa, stated that the decision to shut down was ultimately made due to the platform’s inability to achieve sufficient profitability. Currently, the Aniwaa website remains online, but its data may no longer be updated.
