Snapmaker U1: The Next Flagship Is Coming

Today, Snapmaker officially unveiled its next-generation flagship 3D printer — the Snapmaker U1 — on social media platform X.

Although detailed specifications have not yet been released, promotional videos and user leaks reveal some of the standout features of this machine:

  • Four extruders + Klipper firmware, supporting multi-color/multi-material printing
  • Build volume: 270 × 268 × 270 mm
  • Top speed: 500 mm/s, with acceleration reportedly reaching 20,000 mm/s²
  • Custom OrcaSlicer slicing software

In fact, a prototype image of this device had already been leaked back in March. Now, it’s officially confirmed and announced. Based on the available information, the Snapmaker U1 focuses on high speed, multiple extruders, and an all-in-one experience — a segment that is still largely untapped in the domestic market.

As of now, pricing and release date have not been announced by the company.
